In Voice mode, the app listens to the mic and follows the text word by word. When the presenter gets back to the script, the prompter catches up.

Speech recognition in Portuguese, offline, no internet needed
With "limit to script vocabulary", it only listens for words in the text
Adjustable look-ahead: the next line reaches the marker in the last words of the current line
Skipped a section? PgUp, PgDn or the song list, and voice picks up from there

Each timecode cue is an anchor in the script. Between two cues, the text scrolls smoothly. Located the playback? The prompter cuts with it.

LTC through the audio interface, on the channel you choose. Detects 24, 25, 29.97 and 30 fps
MTC through the MIDI port, from Ableton or QLab
F9 records a cue at the current timecode, no typing needed
Imports TXT, DOCX and RTF. In Word, paragraphs with a Heading style become songs

Questions from operators

Does voice work with loud music?

Voice works best with speech: presenter, emcee, talks, church services. With loud music or singing over the band, recognition drops. For songs, use Timecode or Manual and switch modes with F10, F11 and F12.

Does it need internet?

Not to run it. Speech recognition is offline. You only need internet to activate the license key. The voice model comes in the installer. After that, the app runs up to 30 days offline.

Does it work on Mac?

For now, Windows only. Mac version coming soon. On Windows, loopMIDI receives MTC from Ableton or QLab on the same machine.

Is there a dedicated Companion module?

Yes, since version 1.3.0: BroadTools: Sightline Prompter. It brings play, pause, speed, mode, outputs and one button for each song in the script, lit to show the current state. The module and the steps are on this page and in My licenses.

Is there a lifetime license?

Yes. You pay once and use it with no end date, with 1 year of updates included. After that, the version you have keeps working. Prices are in the plans.

Can I try it at a real show?

Yes. The 7-day trial key, free when you sign up, unlocks the full app, with no watermark and no time limit. Without a key, Sightline Prompter opens in trial mode: 20 minutes, with a watermark on the outputs.
