The remote speaker runs their own slides, from anywhere
One link for the remote speaker to run the event slides, see the stage time and talk to the crew. The operator sets everything up on the event computer; the remote just opens the link and presents.
In the Host, the crew creates the links and decides what each speaker can do.
Who it is for
Shows with a remote speaker
The slides are on stage and the speaker is in another city. They run their own slides from the link, without waiting on the crew.
Teams already running Proteus or Phantom
RemotePilot drives those apps’ slides. The operator keeps the workflow they already use.
Hybrid events
On-site and remote in the same show, with the stage time and a direct line to the crew.
The remote runs their own slides
The remote speaker opens the link and runs the event slides. The slide number comes from Proteus and Phantom, so they always know where they are.
Next and previous slide, from the browser
The slide number (7/35) comes from Proteus and Phantom
Slides only: nothing to touch in the event setup
Works in a browser on a computer, tablet or phone
The remote page: time, slide, clicker and Talk.
The stage time on the remote’s screen
The time from BroadTools Over Timer shows for the remote speaker, with the same alert colors as the stage.
Elapsed or remaining time, as set in Over Timer
The stage alert colors, the same for someone far away
The remote follows the same clock as the stage
Stage time and messages, on the remote’s screen.
A closed audio and text channel with the crew
A direct line between the crew and the remote speaker, by audio and text. It is RemotePilot’s own channel, separate from the team intercom.
Two-way audio between the crew and the remote
Text for quick notes (you’re on, 2 minutes left, skip a slide)
A closed channel, just the crew and that remote
It does not go into Corvus Intercom: it is a separate line
The operator talks to the remote, by audio and text.
The remote gets only a link; the crew sets it all up
Whoever builds the event does all the setup in the Host, on the event computer. The remote speaker gets an access link and nothing else.
One access link per remote, with no account or install for them
Block and release each remote’s clicker, by hand or by slot
Several remotes tied to different slots
The speaker’s video and audio return comes from the platform they already use (Zoom, Teams, Meet, vMix Call)
Clicker free, automatic by slot or blocked, link by link.
Works on any network, no router changes
RemotePilot goes through the BroadTools VPS, like Corvus. The Host, on the event computer, applies the commands to Proteus and Phantom and sends back the current slide.
The Host is a free helper on the event Windows PC (the RF Manager + RF Bridge model)
Commands over the internet, no router port to open
The Host talks to Proteus and Phantom over the local APIs (the same ones Companion uses)
Signs in with the BroadTools account; the plan sets how many remotes at once
What changes with a remote speaker
The usual way, someone on the crew advances the slide when the remote asks. With RemotePilot, the remote advances it.

Questions from operators
Does the remote speaker have to install anything?
No. They open a link in a browser on a computer, tablet or phone. The crew installs the Host, on the event computer.
Does RemotePilot handle the speaker’s video and audio return?
No. That return comes from the platform the speaker already uses, like Zoom, Teams, Meet or vMix Call. RemotePilot handles the slides, the time and the channel with the crew.
Is the audio and text channel the same as Corvus Intercom?
No. It is a closed line, just the crew and that remote, separate from the team intercom.
Can the remote mess up the event setup?
No. They only advance the slide. All the setup is done in the Host, on the crew side.
Can I have more than one remote speaker?
Yes. Each one gets a link, and the crew ties each remote to the slots they can advance. The plan sets how many remotes at once.
Do I need to open a router port?
No. The Host opens the link to the BroadTools VPS, and the link works on any network.
Let the remote speaker run their own slides
The operator sets it up on the event computer and sends a link. The remote speaker opens it, runs the slides, sees the time and talks to the crew.
