Photo loop straight from a folder, nothing to render

Point it at the folder and pick a preset. New photos join on their own, with transitions and slow motion.

Transitions and motion right in the output

The change happens inside GhostPlayer, so Resolume, vMix or OBS get the picture ready to use.

  • Fade, cut, dip to black, slide, push, zoom and wipe
  • Duration from 0 to 5 seconds
  • Standby screen, black and KV at one button
  • Non-16:9 video with bars, a background image or blur

Operator questions

Does it replace Resolume?

No. It complements it: it plays the playlist and the photo loop and hands Resolume the finished picture over NDI or Spout. Scenes and effects stay in Resolume.

Does the video audio go along?

Over NDI, in the same source as the picture. Spout carries picture only; audio also goes out through the selected sound device.

Do I need an extra monitor or card?

No. GhostPlayer opens no video window and leaves the Windows displays alone. For NDI, install the free NDI Tools or NDI Runtime.

Does it open PowerPoint or PDF?

No, only videos and images. For presentations, use Phantom Presenter.

Does it run on Mac?

No. GhostPlayer is for Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit.

Can I try it at a real event?

Yes. The 7-day trial key, free when you sign up, unlocks the full app, with no watermark. Without a key, it opens in trial mode: 20 minutes, with a watermark on the output.
