Does it need internet?
Yes. Corvus Intercom runs on BroadTools servers, so each station needs internet: event Wi-Fi, cable or 4G. On weak 4G, turn on data saver in the station gear menu.
What about an iPhone with the screen locked?
iPhone pauses web apps when the screen locks, and audio stops. When you unlock it, the station reconnects on its own. If the iPhone asks, tap the Tap to resume button. Keep the screen on during the event. On Android, with Keep running in background on, the intercom keeps going with the screen off.
How many stations fit?
It depends on the plan: 3 to 50 stations. Stations are the devices saved in the hub, connected or not. The hub and director panels do not count. Every saved station can be connected at the same time. Each station on the interface counts as one station. To create more stations than your plan allows, change the plan.
Can I connect Corvus Intercom to an audio interface?
Not in the browser (online version): there the interface only works as the mic and headset of one station, in line mode. With the Windows app installed, yes, through Stations on the interface: each station uses one input and one output of the interface. That way a bonded cellular pack, the console or a Clear-Com joins the Matrix as stations. This needs the Windows app installed.
Can I connect Corvus Intercom to a Clear-Com?
Yes, with the Windows app. In Settings, Audio, Stations on the interface, each row is a hub station wired to one input and one output of the interface. It shows up in the Matrix, counts on your plan and talks with nobody pressing keys. The matrix still runs on BroadTools servers.
How does the free trial work?
3 days, with up to 3 stations. Each session ends after 20 minutes. To keep going, start a new session in the panel. No credit card.
